Introducing...

So... here I am. Back on my Blogger which hasn't been posted on since 2017. Perhaps my writing has matured a little since then? (:P) 

To be honest, I never thought I would return here (except that Wordpress.com wasn't working <3) 

But there is something refreshing about the simple 'click-and-write' system. Nothing fancy. No complicated formatting tools or fancy writing fonts. 

Actually, I read a few of my old school posts and it was nice going back to a time when I don't know...things were a lot more straightforward. Nostalgia wasn't something I expected to find when I typed this site into my google search. How funny that memories can sometimes surprise you like that. 

Cathartic... to be able to come and write things that no one else will see.

So I had this idea after watching a cooking show called The Final Table on Netflix. I like writing in cafes and I never remember which ones were the good ones and which ones to avoid when I want a nice cozy nook and a scrumptious coffee to simmer down with. 

Yes, I'm still trying to write a book. And yes, I finally quit my job to do it. 

It's a bit of a lot to talk about in one post but I hope you follow along if you want to find out more. Maybe I'll drop a few hints here and there. 

Right now, all you need to know. 

1. I live in the beautiful Surfers Paradise (Gold Coast).
2. I love coffee or more accurately the cafe culture. 
3. I'm trying to write a book before I go crazy in the attempt.

Notice I didn't say 'publish'. Just 'write' one. 

And may be take you on a tour of some beautiful cafes along the East Coast of Australia :)
